What freedom from dysfunction looks like…
Meet Ricky.
Ricky fell hard into drug addiction and homelessness. For over 10 years he struggled trying to fill a need that only God could heal. He became a part of Ignite 405 in 2015, and even though the road to recovery was hard, he wasn’t alone! If you asked him today, he would attribute all his success to the power of Christ and to the people who surrounded him through the process. From co-leading worship at The Church and even becoming the Mens house manager, Ricky is proof that change is possible. Currently, he’s in a full time job, married, and just recently purchase his first home.
Meet Jennifer.
Jennifer grew up in a very dysfunctional family. Not having a solid foundation as a child led her to a life of running the streets and lost in drug addiction. Unfortunately, she ended up with a prison sentence and would serve 8 years behind bars. Through this process , Jennifer found her true identity in Christ. Since her release in early 2022, Ignite 405 has been able to link arms with her to accomplish goals. Jennifer now works a steady job, preparing for college, and has been reunited with her daughter! She is even working towards purchasing her own vehicle. This opportunity has allowed her to grow and break the cycle of dysfunction for her and her family for generations to come.
